Link a spreadsheet to your model.
Connect a local Excel workbook to your drawing so data flows both ways — equipment schedules, loads, room data and pricing — instead of being re-keyed by hand.
- Two directions, reconciled — pull values from the sheet into the model, or push model data out to the sheet. Nothing is ever silently overwritten.
- You stay in control — when the sheet and the model have both changed, engiCAD shows you exactly what differs and lets you choose, row by row, which side wins.
- Rows find the right element — each linked element carries a stable key, so a spreadsheet row always maps to the element it belongs to even after you rename a tag. Room data can match on the architect's room number.
- Start from a schedule, or from a sheet you were sent — generate a ready-to-fill workbook from any engiCAD schedule, or link a spreadsheet a client, QS or architect sends you and map its columns.
- Inputs in, results out — the sheet can drive input data such as ratings, loads, references and prices. Values engiCAD calculates for itself stay engiCAD's: they are written out to the sheet, never pulled back in.
- On your command — pull and push happen when you press the button, so a link never surprises you.

Turn DWG symbols into a live MEP model.
engiCAD already opens DWG and DXF directly, as editable geometry or as a coordination underlay. This is the step beyond: open a consultant's or client's drawing and turn its MEP symbols into native engiCAD elements in bulk — with the right type, connection points and system — instead of converting them by hand, one at a time.
- Bulk, in place — recognised MEP blocks are replaced where they sit with native engiCAD elements. The whole drawing in one pass, not symbol by symbol.
- You map, it applies — a review table lists every distinct block and MEP layer. Assign each block to an existing element type or create one from its geometry, and map each layer to a system.
- Every placement preserved — position, rotation, scale and mirroring carry across, so the native model lands exactly over the original rather than approximately near it.
- Linework becomes live services — ducts and pipes drawn as lines or polylines on mapped layers become live service paths in the same pass, taking their system from the layer map.
- Reusable mapping profiles — the same CAD standards recur. Save a mapping as a named profile and reapply it to the next drawing from the same source, so only new symbols need assigning.
- Review first, report after — preview what will convert, block by block and highlighted on the canvas, with anything unmatched listed so nothing converts silently. The original stays as a read-only underlay, and the whole pass is a single undo.

Open your projects in a browser.
A web viewer for engiCAD cloud projects, being built alongside the desktop app — so a project can be opened on any device without installing anything.
- Your cloud projects — opens the projects already in your engiCAD cloud space, with nothing to export first.
- Underlays included — architectural backgrounds draw in the viewer too, without the browser having to process the original DWG.
- Levels and view states — move between floors and saved views as you would on the desktop.
- Schedules — read the schedules generated from the model.
- Sheets next — paper-space layouts, the drawing sheets themselves, are the next major piece.
- On Android too — the same viewer is being packaged as an Android app.
