• Consultancies, large and small — engineers design each service in the model and issue sized drawings, schedules and bills from it. Element libraries and sheet templates export to a file, so everyone in the office starts from the same types and title blocks.
• Solo and independent engineers — one person carries a job from layout through sizing to schedule, in one tool, with nothing re-keyed along the way.
• Contractors and installers — design-and-build and M&E installation teams draw services over the consultant's DWG, check heights in the 3D model before they reach site, and issue installation drawings as PDF, DWG or DXF sheets, with a take-off for ordering.
• CAD and BIM technicians — an AutoCAD-style command line, object snaps, grips and the full modify toolset, with DWG and DXF in and out. Your drafting habits carry over, and the services you draw carry their sizes and systems.
• Estimators and quantity surveyors — a take-off measured from the model (lengths by size and counts by type, per level and system, with a waste allowance) as a numbered bill with builder's work sections, exported to Excel to price. Click a line and the elements behind it are selected.
• Every building-services discipline — ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, drainage, electrical and controls in one model. Water is sized to BS EN 806-3, AS/NZS 3500, CIPHE / BS 6700 or Hunter (IPC), drainage to BS EN 12056-2, and cables are derated with BS 7671 correction factors.

Cost & licensing

Half the rate now. A quarter off for good.

The standard rate is €80 per seat, per month. Early access members pay less now, and never pay full price.

• €40 per seat, per month — half the standard rate, for every seat, throughout the programme.
• 25% off, permanently — when engiCAD launches you keep 25% off the standard rate (€60 per seat / month today), for as long as you stay a member. Early members never move up to what later customers pay.

Places

A small number of places, by application.

• Limited places — the programme is kept to a small number of practices.
• By application — tell us what you work on and we arrange a walkthrough against a drawing you recognise; there's no obligation to go further.
• Runs until launch — the programme continues until engiCAD launches, with no fixed end date.
• Runs on your machine — Windows, macOS or Linux.

Your projects

Your work stays yours.

• Encrypted, and yours — projects live encrypted in your own engiCAD cloud space, with version history you can roll back.
• Nothing locked in — everything exports to DWG and DXF with native dimensions, text and leaders; project data comes out as schedules and Excel.
