Drainage

Discharge units, accumulated where they belong.

Draw the drainage, set the gradients, and the solver walks the network accumulating discharge units branch by branch, resolves each branch to its stack and sizes to BS EN 12056-2.

Sizing

The standard, applied to your network.

  • BS EN 12056-2 — discharge units converted to flow by Q = K × √(ΣDU), with the frequency factor K set by building type.
  • Accumulation per branch — units gather down the network exactly as it is connected, so a branch carries what actually discharges into it.
  • Stack assignment — branches resolve to their stack, with main stacks tracked across the whole project rather than per drawing.
  • Filling degree and ventilation type — sizing tables selected by h/d and by the ventilation arrangement of the stack.
  • Gradients — set slope per run through waypoint elevations, with vertical propagation between levels.

Checks and output

Catch it at the desk, not on site.

Drainage network schedule

Every branch and stack scheduled from the solved network, seeded from any element you pick.

Elevation consistency

Waypoint-versus-path elevation checks across a network, so a gradient that cannot work is reported.

Connection checks

Unterminated services and unconnected connection points listed by level and system.

Quantities

Lengths by size and fitting counts, per level and per system, straight into the take-off.
